i just got back from surgery.
i had my ear tubes taken out. yes i know most people do not know what ear tubes are.
i shall tell you. ear tubes are little tubes(obviously) that go inside your ear and help keep infections out of the ear. now don't go up to MAMA and say i need ear tubes. if you need them the doctor would have told you along time ago. ear tubes for people that have oddly shaped ear canals(me).
the bad side: you can not go swimming in fresh water with out ear plugs, no not the kind that you use when going to rock concerts in the front row. a special kind of ear plug that costs about 400 big ones.
